We caught Marley & Me and I personally finds it to be a touching film of a man and his dog over the span of 15 years. I was sniffing in the theatre with everyone else just doing the same. There are several touching parts for this plot and I rate this movie as a worthy to watch film.

From John Grogan:
A dog doesn't care if you're rich or poor, educated or illiterate, clever or dull. Give him your heart and he will give you his.
Touched by the ending especially about what the author said.A dog doesn't care if you're rich or poor, educated or illiterate, clever or dull. Give him your heart and he will give you his.
A dog doesn't care about your status and material possesion, even a water logged stick will do just fine.
A dog judges on the inside because he doesn't care about your class, creed and colour.
