i'll be going for an exercise that's gonna last 8 days starting tml..please do keep me in prayer..i've never been in an outfield exercise that last this long..
to be frank..i'm anxious and a lil doubtful and perhaps that is the reason why i come and post this in our blog (never posted anything here before this)..but nonetheless..i'm gonna cast my worries to the Lord..

Today i helped out at home by cleaning up the store room, it almost killed me because i almost fell and got crushed haha but thank Goodness i am fine!

guess everyone of us sure did have a good entrance into this brand new year! And everyone of you have started school.. so do enjoy and study hard, aim for all the A's! but still do remember commitment to come for cellgroup&service alright?

yesterday Ryan&Weishan&I went roller-blading! it was exciting..... except the rain part. hahaha and let me tell you.. the way Weishan fall was so unglam!



We sure did have a fun time. But it could have been better if everyone could join! but fret not, badminton tomorrow! yay, finally I can see the little girls and a few old ones! :D

Did you guys know... we really flood out Wenhan's camera with close to 150 of our shots? but it was hilarious looking at those shots and think "man, i was part of it!"
thanks for the wonderful time during countdown. nothing could ever be better than to usher in 2007 with people you hold dearly in your life! And haitang for squeezing into the bed, i was sweating! And the brunch... it wwas sure a ball of time. hope everyone did enjoy it just like I did.

alright, here are the new year countdown photos..the first 10 photos are the shi lian pai..then some other 6 photos follows behind..and the next college are some other of the hundreds of photos that we took that day at han's place..
2007 already- in fact, this is already the 2nd day of the new year. if we havent write down our goals proper- like me! its time to plan it out and do sth about the year ahead. for those whose school will re-open tml- heheheheheh! in fact its today! Opps..have a great first day in school and may this be the greatest year in school for you guys. though may be new place and new faces- think it is going to be rather interesting. for the rest- have a great year ahead too!

Anyway wanna share something. Was reading Deuteuronomy and it was Moses speaking to the children of Israel concerning the laws. Imagine, for 40years trudging through the wilderness, they totally lack nothing. God provided them manna, their garments never got worn out and their feet never swell, wherever the sole of their feet thread upon, the land was given to them. Their possession was so great!

Something for us to think about. Just like the children of Israel, our inheritance from God can be so great, but maybe somehow along the way we lose track of God's vision in our lives and because of several disappointments, we side-tracked from His ways and start to complain even though He still continued to show His signs and wonders.... Do you feel like you are one of the children of Israel?

Fret not, because God love you so much to see you slipped away. thats why there are appointed and anointed people over your life to help you. Love God will all your heart,mind and soul! Just like He multiplied the 70 to like stars of heavens, so will He do for you!

What is true in the new testament will also be for us living in the new testament! Do not be discouraged nor afraid! Because God honors His promises. everything we do must be out of sacrifices :D

This whole month I am truly living by faith. Really trusting God for every single provision !!! So yeah, everyone, keep and faith and hang on! God can turn things around for each and everyone of us!

Countdown to christmas celebrations- 2 days!!

a beautiful verse i think.
on the very first christmas day- this verse was fulfilled.
we have 2 more days to go before the christmas celebrations and this thought has been in my mind. what wld our attitude be when it comes to inviting our friends if this is the last christmas we would ever celebrate here on earth- many times we dismissed that thought- but what if its real? the thought itself really spur me to call or sms some of my friends and my family that i have not spoken to for a long time. let's really make this christmas worthwhile and the best christmas in our lives yet- not becos of the presents that we wld be getting but the salvation of the people that God has placed in our lives.

it is according to the measure of faith that we have- let's not give up or throw in the towel now- cos the hope is not in ourselves but our hope is in God- so we know that He is able to do great and mighty things on our behalf and with us! let's bring in the harvest this christmas! :)
let's not be limited by our vision or sight but let's see through the vision and the eyes of God. you can bring faith, hope and love to the people ard yoU! :)

GOOD OL' TIMES
Hey guys, couldn't believe it has been so long since our last outing! Lets make our thanksgiving dinner a blast alright and continue reaching out to our friends! Don't give up yeah... a heart out there needs Jesus.

Anyway I hope you guys been doing something productive. As for me, I have started looking for jobs! I can't stand slacking and wasting my time&youth away at home!!! So do pray that I can get the job I applied and a good pay.... so as to finance my shopping craze haha.

Well, you guys do mean alot to me yeah. But right now, lets set our focus on Xmas, The reason Christ was born! ::Faith.Hope.Love:: Reminded me of the story of a farmer who had 3 doves namely, Faith (Eldest), Hope (Middle), Love (Youngest). One day the doves flew away right before the eyes of the farmer, he cried and said : "i can't live without them 3" Let us be like the farmer, never living without faith&hope&love.

Sometimes life might get tough, but its during the process that God really strengthen us. 2006 is really drawing to a close. Lets make really realistc plans for 2007 and see ourselves accomplishing whatever we have set. Let this year end off with a sense of achievement and pride knowing that at least you have done your best!

Let this time be a time of focus on our strength and not weaknesses. As for the little ones, I hope you girls & guys are prepared to start school! Shine in your campus! As for the rest, the ns guys, uni student, working adult and me (of course), continue to be a light that shine and be a person of substance for the Lord!

Every decision/emotion is CHOICE.

Christmas and Thanksgiving Cg

Hi everyone,

since our Christmas service is on the 23-25th, sat to monday, shall we have our Christmas party on the 24th, Sunday evening. We are not going for all services, but we shall we go for the sat 4.30pm and sun 1.30pm service. Lets not have it on friday the 22nd because it is going to be very tiring for all of you as the weekends are going to be quite tiring. So after Sun 1.30pm service, which i guess will end around 4.30pm we can go down to Ryan's place or my place for Christmas party. We will just play Christmas games, eat, fellowship and have our christmas card exchange that day. Then on the 29th of Dec, we shall have our thanksgiving and appreciation cg. Can you all make it? Please let me know this friday during cg okay, thanks!

Christmas Gift Exchange!

Hi everyone!

This is truly the season to be jolly and i know that all of you are looking forward to more gifts and more gifts! Haha... so we are going to have our annual gift exchange. BUT it is not going to be a normal gift buying session, we are going to be more creative this year.

To be very honest, i know most of you would agree that the presents you get are not exactly the best dream gift that we would like to have and sometimes, in fact, many times, an encouraging word from the depths of someone's heart would be even better!

Thats why we are going to have a christmas card exchange! The maximum cost i want you to spend is $5, so please dont go shopping at hallmarks or other card stalls. Our christmas cards by the chidren of BBG members are great, but it is not for this occasion. Let it be a handmade card!

Some of you are thinking "goodness! i am extremely bad at art and craft!" Don't fret, i am bad at it too, haha, thats why you must use your brain to be more creative and think of solutions. Iniside it, write your most encouraging yuletide greetings! Dont sign off your name though, at the end of the cg, i would ask everyone to read out their christmas greetings, and they are to guess who designed their cards. Please ah, dont write two words "merry christmas" okay! I prophesy that you would reap what you sow one day! Very important, please indicate inside to whom is the card for okay, very very important.

At the end, i was thinking of having two awards, one for the most encouraging greeting, the other for the best design. The judges would of course be all of you that turn up that day! So start working your creative juices now! Look forward to christmas and of couse the newsboys next week! The song that wenhan posted was fantastic and i simply loved it. I am sure you all feel the same way too.

Hi all dudes!

almost 1/2 the wk is gone n how is everyone doing? Well hopely all of u r spending ur time fruitfully....

Last wk CG sermon was great man and hope that everyone of us are stepping out in one area or another! Let us nt just stay at where we r bud move beyond where we cn c. Walk by faith nt by sight. I believe that everyone has their own area in lives that we know we need to really STEP OUT! Dun let this sermon pass away easily again bud instead start to pen down the things we wan to improve and move to the nxt level. Specificity in the future make u more productive in the present.

To recap the 4 pts,
1)Step out into the unknown
2)Step out to attempt the impossible(my fav)
3)Step out in confidence
4)Step out fr the pool of the WORLD

For every pt start to think to urself which area cn u step out? Could it be u alwiz tot its impossible to reach out to that cold-harded frend? Or maybe u hv oso been timid n nt afraid to speak out?

Goals in '06

Hi guys,

Yeah man we are inching towards the end of 06!Yahooooooooo! so glad that i will be out of NS soon! No more authority, no more restricted freedom! For many of us i believe we hv set goals for ourselves in the yr 06. I think we should all review our goal setting card and see where we are standing by nw. For goals that hv been met, great n Praise the LoRD. For those goals which are not met or is near, let us not give up and try to fulfill those that are still possible. Be it the friend whom we hv alwiz wanted to reach out to, our bible reading, our finaces(must be debt-free), any broken relationship that needs to be healed, our bad attitude that needs to be changed, or could be our own spiritual walk with God. Let us be very clear of our objectives so that God can bring us to a greater level!

Also like wad liwei said, we shud nt grow weary of reaching out to our frends, n faith w/o works is dead! Lets continue to pray for the salvation of our frends, family members or colleagues. We must be proactive, write down the names of frends, spend time quality time w em n meet their needs! I think beyond this wkend svc, lets believe that God is gg to move their hearts as we invite em for friendship connections and of course our big day CHRISTMAS!! Lets bring in the harvest n God will be very very happy!!

Lets us spend our remaining time very wisely as we move towards the end of this yr. End this yr w a great bang n be ready to launch ourselves to the nxt phase.

Thanksgiving Dinner

Hi everyone!

we are approaching our most anticipated time of the year, Christmas! Haha.. it is the best fastive period of the year and i am really looking forward to it as i believe most of you are. Anyway, this post is just to inform you that jiarong and peggie are going to plan the food menu for our thanksgiving! Our estimated budget, assuming that everyone is willing to pay $15 and we can get 20 people to pay, is $300.

I guess that we would probably have 40 people coming that day, haha so you can start preparing for it le. If you read the newspaper, it is not an easy task, it is like Jesus feeding the multitudes and we really need a miracle in that sense. As most of you should know, some of us and our friends have really healthy appetites! So if you have any specific dish or item that you are dying to have and it is an uncontrollable urge that you need to fulfill, please go check out the price in your nearest friendly supermarket or sheng siong, and let our food i/cs know.

Look forward to end well with all of you this year!

Pst Phil is coming this week, let us really go for our vision of 1+1 attendance!! It can be done if everyone focuses on our target together. And we are going for 1+2 for Christmas. All things are posible to those who believe, so lets believe that as we work together with God, we can bring in the tremendous harvest that God has prepared for us to take.
